A while back I had settled on using SPMC (I've been running 16.7.4 since it was released, but had used prior versions too) with my 1st and 2nd Gen Fire TV Boxes over the years, with a shared MySQL server (so I can keep the movie database consistent, as well as stop in one room continue in another). This had worked great with everything I had ripped to MKV and wanted to playback. DTS and DD5.1
